Crime – Arson investigators are trying to find a man who they believe broke into Village Square Shopping Centre businesses and tried to torch them.
Police said the incidents happened Thursday at 3:30 a.m. when someone broke into two restaurants. The culprit stole the cash floats, poured gasoline and started fires in both places, causing $40,000 in damage.
Investigators have surveillance video from one of the restaurants and say they need help identifying the man seen in the video. Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
