London, Ont., police report one man has died of his injuries following a serious crash in the city’s south end.
According to police, emergency crews were called to Exeter Road and Wonderland Road South at roughly 7:45 a.m. Tuesday to reports of a three-vehicle crash.
Members of the London fire department extricated a driver from one of the vehicles. He was taken to hospital by paramedics.
Police said Tuesday morning that he had life-threatening injuries.
In an update Tuesday afternoon, police said the driver had since died of his injuries and identified him as Kassem Deeb, 72, of London.
As part of the investigation, police closed sections of Exeter and Wonderland for roughly six hours.
