WINNIPEG – The title of Manitoba’s oldest person is up for grabs after the man believed to have held the title died in early August.
Winnipeg’s Sam Baker was 109 years old.
But there are several people who are not too far behind, according to active Manitoba health records.

Out in front is a man born in November 1904, who would now be 108.
Who he is and even where he is will not be released by the province due to privacy concerns.
There are three other living people on the books who were also born in 1904.
A second man was born in November of that year, and a man and woman were born in December.
