Vancouver Police say a distraught man was shot with a beanbag outside the art gallery this morning.
Police say they received reports of a distraught man on the north side of the Vancouver Art Gallery, intimidating pedestrians and others working in the area.
A witness tells Global News the man was partially clothed.
When police arrived, they found an extremely agitated man who was threatening them.
The man shot with a “less lethal” beanbag projectile and taken into custody.
It’s unknown if he was injured. The man is being taken to hospital for assessment.
