Nova Scotia reported one new case of COVID-19 on Tuesday and said 11 active cases remain in the province.
According to Public Health, the case is in the Central Zone and is related to travel outside Atlantic Canada.
“The person is self-isolating, as required,” health officials said.
Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs said they completed 1,592 Nova Scotia tests the day prior.
As of Monday, 11,622 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered. Of those, 2,708 Nova Scotians have received their second dose, according to the province.
Premier Stephen McNeil said in a COVID-19 briefing on Tuesday that there is some concern over the province’s vaccine supply as they will not be receiving any this week.
He said fortunately they have held back half so everyone will be able to receive their second dose.
Since Oct. 1, Nova Scotia said it has completed 154,002 tests. There have been 483 positive cases of the coronavirus and no deaths.
No one is currently in hospital and 472 cases are now resolved.
