Stroup has quickly established herself as a highly sought-after young actress in both film and television. She was recently seen starring opposite Brittany Snow in the horror remake "Prom Night." The film was a hit and earned a number one spot at the box office with a $20 million opening, an upper tier debut for the genre.
Stroup also starred as the female lead in "The Hills Have Eyes II." Her additional feature credits include "The Informers," with Billy Bob Thornton and Winona Ryder, "Homecoming," with Mischa Barton, "This Christmas," alongside Chris Brown and Mekhi Phifer, "Broken" and "School for Scoundrels."
Stroup’s television credits include guest starring roles on "True Blood," "Grey’s Anatomy," "October Road" and The CW’s "Reaper."
Stroup left her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, at age 17 for Los Angeles, where she immediately began working as a model and actress. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
