3 men stabbed at central Mississauga plaza, police say

Peel Regional Police say three people have been stabbed at a plaza in central Mississauga Wednesday evening.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Hurontario Street and Dundas Street East just before 9 p.m.

A spokesperson said officers found the victims with stab wounds. Two men, who are 29 and 45, were initially reported by police as having critical injuries. They were taken to a trauma centre by paramedics, but their conditions were later upgraded to non-life-threatening.

A 37-year-old was taken local hospital by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.

The spokesperson said it’s believed there are multiple suspects.

The circumstances leading up to the stabbings weren’t clear as of Wednesday night.
