27-year-old dead following early morning collision on Joyceville Road

Kingston police say a 27-year-old Kingston man has died after a vehicle crashed on Joyceville Road early Wednesday morning.

Police say around 2 a.m., one vehicle left the road and crashed into a rock cut, killing the lone driver.

 

Police shut down Joyceville Road between Middle Road and the Husky gas station for most of the morning for the investigation, but the road was reopened around 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Kingston police said two reconstructionists were on scene, and that Kingston Fire and Rescue attended the collision, but could not confirm whether there was a fire.

Police have yet to release the identity of the deceased. The coroner’s office is now investigating the cause of death.
