EDMONTON – The Edmonton Oilers’ General Manager Craig MacTavish announced Thursday that the team signed defenceman Denis Grebeshkov to a one-year contract.

The 29-year-old previously played two and a half seasons with the Oilers before he was traded to the Nashville Predators.

Grebeshkov spent the last four seasons in the KHL. He also competed in the 2010 Olympic Games as a part of Team Russia.
