REGINA – Saskatchewan Government Insurance is looking for more motorcyclists to voluntarily mount a device on their bike that reads their driving habits.

S-G-I is looking for one-thousand volunteers in a pilot project that will help determine future insurance programs.

So far, only 120 bikers have cranked their hands in favour of placing monitoring equipment on their machines.

S-G-I spokeswoman Kim Hambelton says the more volunteers they get, the more data they’ll gather to help structure future insurance rates.
