Don’t drive while intexticated.
That’s the message Quebec’s automobile insurance board has for motorists this spring.
Two new ads began Monday and will continue until May 1.
One ad targets professionals and the other focuses on young drivers.
The message to Quebec motorists is "avoid distractions while driving" and the latest distraction is texting.
According to the SAAQ (Societe de l’assurance automobile du Quebec), since July 2008, more than 93,800 tickets have been given to motorists in Quebec using cell phones at the wheel.
