A Kelowna man is desperately hoping to recover his septic tank truck after it was stolen late last week.
The truck is worth about $100,000 dollars and was used to pump out septic systems and flooded basements.
It was stolen from the Vista Car wash in West Kelowna around 11pm on Friday.
Owner Gary Higgs has parked there for many years.
Painted bright orange with black lettering reading “AA Septic”, the truck is very distinct and Higgs hopes someone will spot it.
He says he never imagined a septic tank truck would be stolen and did not have theft insurance.
The theft was captured on surveillance video, which Higgs hopes will help police track down the person responsible.
