TORONTO – Environment Canada has issued a humidex advisory for much of Ontario.
Temperatures around Southern Ontario are expected to reach over 30°C, but with the warm and humid air mass settling on the area it will feel more like 40°C.

The advisory stretches from Niagara to Ottawa, and north to Orillia.
The City of Toronto, Brampton and York Region have all issued heat advisories.
People are advised to avoid strenuous outdoor activities and ensure that they drink plenty of water if outdoors. If possible, people should try to find air conditioned places like libraries or community centres.
Southern Ontario could see severe storms Thursday and Friday.
