Revellers looking to ring in 2011 will have access to free transit service, city officials say.
The Ding in the New Year program, including Paratransit, will run for its 23rd year as part of a initiative from SGI and Regina Transit.
This year’s service operates from 7 p.m. on December 31 to 3:15 a.m. on January 1. Buses will travel regular routes throughout the city.
The Regina Police Service is also reminding the public to not drink and drive if they choose not to use the Ding in the New Year service.
Route information and schedule times are available online at regina.ca and an information flyer will be delivered to all homes in the December 28th edition of the Regina Sun Community News.
