Sask. ranks second as best province to invest in

Saskatchewan’s Real Growth, Real Opportunity campaign may be catchy, but it is not enough to take the title of best Canadian province to invest in.

According to the Fraser Institute, Alberta gets that honour. Low taxes on companies and people, careful government spending and a lack of red tape are the reasons why Alberta scored eight-point-one out of ten.

Saskatchewan ranks second in the country with a score of six-point-four out of ten. The province is working to sell itself to investors with the $2 million, three year national and international campaign.

Rounding out the top five are B.C., New Brunswick and Ontario.
