Communities in southwestern Sask. dealing with flooding

Swift Current is currently on flood watch. It will be known within the next 18 hours how bad it will be.

Maple Creek is experiencing flooding.

Good Spirit Lake is expiring high water levels in areas which is causing property damage to just fewer than 10 homes. People are busy constructing sand bags for the area.

Fishing Lake is reporting that lake levels are impacting properties near Chorney Beach, with fewer than 20 homes reporting damage. Residents are constructing sand bags.

South Saskatchewan River, upstream of Lake Diefenbaker will see water rise around 10 feet by early next week, but it is within healthy peak levels.
