Today is the start of the province’s seasonal flu immunization program. Seniors, pregnant women, children between the ages of six and 23 months and other high risk individuals are encouraged to get the vaccine. The province will stop seasonal flu immunization once the H1N1 vaccine becomes available in November. At that time all Albertans over the age of six months will be encouraged to get vaccinated against H1N1.
