Toronto police are appealing to students at two separate toronto high schools for help in finding missing 17-year old Mariam Makhniashvili. They spoke to hundreds of students thursday at Northern Secondary School and North York Collegiate High School and asked them to jog their memories for information about the disappearance of the missing teen. They also showed the students new pictures of Mariam, a surveillance video of her at Union Station on September 13th and a map tracing the route between Forest Hill Collegiate, where she disappeared and Eglinton Avenue where her backpack was found.

Both schools are within walking distance to where Mariam’s knapsack was found just one week ago.

This is not the first time that police have appealed to students for help in the case. Three weeks ago, investigators and her family spoke to students at Forest Hill Collegiate where Mariam attended before she disappeared.

It’s now been exactly 32 days since the 17-year-old was last seen.
