Two West Vancouver high school students found a pair of vintage guns outside their school, and what could have been a dangerous discovery has turned into a search for an owner.
A starter pistol and a vintage hand gun were located outside Rockridge Secondary School on Tuesday.

The guns had been there for quite some time and neither had ammunition.
West Vancouver Police say the weaponry is not linked to any crime.
The antique hand gun is a vintage six-shot revolver that could be from the World War One era or even earlier.
Police are now trying to find the guns’ owner.
