Lago Lindo clean up finally begins

The long-awaited clean up of the neighbourhood affected by a massive house explosion has begun.

In June, a home in the Lago Lindo neighbourhood exploded. Four people died and many residents were temporarily displaced.

Up until now, the city said it could not clean up the site because of ongoing investigations by police and the fire detpartment.

The clean up will cost an estimated $15,000, and will be added to the property’s tax bill.
