VERNON, BC — A full scale search involving numerous emergency agencies continues on Kalamalka Lake south of Vernon after a report of a possible accident.
Police, fire, conservation, and search and rescue are checking the Cosens Bay area of the lake after multiple reports of a possible crash of a float plane.
Officials indicate they had three calls on the incident, two that saw something in the water and a oil slick, and another person who says they saw a plane in the water about 300 meters from shore.
