RCMP have now identified two men who were found dead in a Fort McMurray apartment last Wednesday as the city’s first and second homicide victims of the year.
The men were 23 year old Idris Abess from Fort McMurray and 22 year old Saed Adad from Toronto. The two were known to police.
RCMP were called to a downtown apartment on February 17th, where they discovered the men’s bodies. The manager of the apartment said police had the entire floor blocked off. The manager was not sure if either or both of the men were tenants in the building.
A cause of death has been determined, but not yet released.
No one has been charged in the case.
