A Westjet Boeing 737-800 has safely landed at Vancouver International Airport, after the pilot discovered a damaged rear tire and turned the plane around.
The plane was en route to Honolulu, Hawaii from Vancouver.
153 passengers and six crew members were aboard the aircraft. The plane had been circling over Vancouver Island for over four hours, in order to burn excess fuel.
Emergency vehicles were already on scene.
