The group was a part of an Algonquin hiking experience organized by Saint David Catholic Secondary School in Waterloo.

Provincial police officers from the Bruce Peninsula detachment and Emergency Response Team spent much of the night searching the area.

But police said the group was found just after 5:30 a.m. this morning near a cabin on the Bruce trail.

The teens are reported to be OK but cold. Police had said earlier that the emphasis of the trip was on survival and outback camping.
