Head on crash near Okanagan Falls

The Jaws of Life were needed to extract two motorists involved in a head on collision on Highway 97 near Okanagan Falls early Thursday morning.

The crash happened at around 7 a.m. at an area known as Waterman’s Hill where a southbound vehicle crossed the centre line before colliding with a northbound vehicle.

The driver who caused the crash is from Okanagan Falls. The other driver is from Oliver.

Both were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

There were no other occupants in the vehicles.

The crash tied up traffic for about two hours.
