Halifax police say that an area that was closed due to a fatal collision between a pedestrian and a truck in Halifax’s north end is now open.
Halifax Regional Police say the collision happened on Lady Hammond Road between Commission Street and Kempt Road.
The pedestrian involved in the collision was a 63-year-old woman from Halifax according to police, and the truck was driven by a 53-year-old Dartmouth man.
No further details have been provided.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
