Police say the pair were treated by emergency service personnel but succumbed to their injuries on scene.
Brantford police spokesperson Shane Siebert confirmed to Global News that the deceased are Larry Reynolds, 64, and Lynn VanEvery, 62.
“We do not believe at this time, this was a random act of violence,” said Siebert who went on to say that the relationship of the two victims was not yet determined and is still “part of the investigation.”
