Injured biker rescued at Kelowna-area provincial park

An injured biker was rescued at Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park on Stewart Road East in Kelowna, B.C. on Sunday afternoon.

The Central Okanagan Search and Rescue team assisted the Kelowna fire department in responding to the call of a female cyclist who had fallen off of her bike around 1:00 p.m.

First responders made their way up the Lost Lake Trail towards the injured female to extract her from the provincial park.

The extent of the biker’s injuries are described as minor.
