81-year-old man charged after woman found dead in alleged domestic homicide at Brampton home

Peel Regional Police say an 81-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of an 82-year-old woman in Brampton Monday morning.

Police said officers responded to a call just before 9 a.m. to a home in the area of Bramalea Road and Gates of Bramalea.

Investigators said the victim, who was identified as Bao Lian Li, was found dead inside.

Const. Heather Cannon said the incident appears to be “potentially domestic related.”

Lu Hong Liang was arrested and charged. He appeared in a Brampton court Monday afternoon.
