Winnipeggers in the North Kildonan area of the city woke up without power Friday morning.
Manitoba Hydro said crews were on scene in the River East neighbourhood working to restore power.

Over 1,000 customers were affected by the power outage; Hydro later tweeted that power has since been returned.
Hydro said they’re unsure of the cause of the outage.
