Police said a man got into the woman’s home in the Woodbine Avenue and Kingston Road area at around 3 a.m. by using a ladder to get into a bedroom on the second floor.

Investigators released security images of a suspect late Sunday in an effort to identify the suspect.

Katie Besler, a 30-year neighbourhood resident, is one of several neighbourhood residents who said they were worried after Sunday’s incident.

“That’s pretty scary because that’s not the usual kind of thing that happen around here,” she said.
