RIMOUSKI, Que. – Noah Dobson scored twice as the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies dumped the Rimouski Oceanic 5-2 on Tuesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action

Rouyn-Noranda holds a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven QMJHL Western Conference final.

Felix Bibeau put away the eventual winner for the Huskies at 10:59 of the second period. Justin Bergeron and Vincent Marleau also scored, while Samuel Harvey made 20 saves for the win.

Olivier Garneau and Radim Salda scored for the Oceanic. Tristan Berube combined with Colten Ellis for 31 saves for Rimouski.

Rouyn-Noranda was 2 for 5 on the power play and the Oceanic could not score on their three man advantages.

MOOSEHEADS 2 VOLTIGEURS 1

HALIFAX — Keith Getson’s goal at the 11:44 mark of the first period stood as the winner as the Mooseheads tied their series with Drummondville 1-1.

Samuel Asselin also scored for Halifax.

Maxime Comtois scored for the Voltigeurs.

Alexis Gravel kicked out 34 shots for the Mooseheads. Olivier Rodrigue turned away 26 shots for Drummondville.
