Montreal police looking for suspect in Côte-des-Neiges homicide

Montreal police’s major crimes unit is investigating after a 61-year-old man was shot to death inside a car in Côte-des-Neiges.

The shooting is Montreal’s sixth homicide.

Montreal police say the incident happened at 9:20 a.m. on Rocquancourt Street. The victim was parked in front of his home when the suspect approached him and fired several shots.

The man was taken to hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead.

The suspect fled the scene and is at large. The motive is yet to be confirmed.
