DriveBC is reporting that Highway 3 has been reopened to traffic following a rockslide on Friday night.
ORIGINAL STORY:
A rockslide has closed a section of Highway 3 in B.C.’s Southern Interior.
The slide, which happened Friday night, is west of Keremeos and has closed the highway in both directions for 21.9 kilometres, between Hedley-Nickel Plate Road and Ashnola Road.

The estimated time at which the highway will reopen is not available, though DriveBC says an assessment is in progress. Detours are available via Highway 5A and Highway 3A.
The rocks came down at about 9 p.m., with some reporting on social media they were very large boulders.
On Friday, that same section of road was closed for several hours because of a traffic incident.
