Police charge Kitchener woman after car reported stolen while pumping gas

Waterloo Regional Police say a Kitchener woman is facing several charges after another woman was allegedly attacked and had her car stolen while pumping gas.

Officers were called to the gas station on Feb. 27 in the area of King Street North in Woolwich Township for reports of a robbery.

The victim reported that she was assaulted and then her car was stolen.

Police said the stolen vehicle was later involved in a crash in Wellesley Township. The suspect then flagged down another vehicle and assaulted the driver, police said.

Police announced on Wednesday that a 29-year-old woman was arrested and is facing a long list of charges.

Her name was not released.
