Sustain wins Peterborough’s Win this Space 2019

The owners of Sustain, an eco-lifestyle retail store in Peterborough, are winners of Win This Space 2019. Sustain was selected after the judges evaluated the top 10 applicants.

Jonathan and Celine MacKay are winners of the prize package, which is valued at more than $40,000 and which includes a downtown Peterborough storefront free for a year.

Sustain offers sustainable, non-toxic products.

“This is our third Win This Space and each year I’m inspired and impressed by the interesting businesses people are entering into this competition,” said Terry Guiel, executive director of the Downtown Business Improvement Area. “Congratulations to Jonathan and Celine. We are confident in their business proposal and we know this community is going to embrace this new store.”

Sustain is looking to build on the success of their MacKay’s eco-lifestyle concept store in Huntsville. Their goal is to expand their concept to Peterborough, which they describe as an eco-progressive, vibrant community.
