Bringing the day’s total to five trades, the Winnipeg Jets closed out the NHL’s trade deadline with three final moves.
Nic Petan, who has bounced between the Jets and their AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, since 2015, has been moved to the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for Par Lindholm.
Lindholm, 27, is a Swedish centre with 61 NHL games to his credit and extensive experience in the highest levels of Swedish hockey.
The Jets also acquired Nathan Beaulieu, 26, a former member of the Buffalo Sabres and Montreal Canadiens organizations.
Beaulieu was traded for the Jets’ sixth-round pick in 2019.
Finally, the Jets added to their injury-riddled defense corps with the acquisition of Bogdan Kiselevich, 29, who most recently saw action with the Florida Panthers.
The Russian spent almost a decade in the Kontinental Hockey League before moving to North America with the Panthers last season.
