Saskatoon police say their investigation of an alleged armed robbery led to a drug bust on Feb. 20.
The alleged robbery was reported at a convenience store in the 3900-block of 8th Street East at roughly 10:20 p.m.
Police were told a suspect entered the store with his face covered and produced a gun. The suspect allegedly fled with stolen cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Further investigation led officers to a home on Ramsay Court, where a 15-year-old Toronto boy was arrested, police said.
According to police, a search of the home yielded a loaded gun and stolen cigarettes. Police say they also seized around $5,000 in cash and 181 pieces of crack cocaine packaged for distribution.
The teenager is facing 13 firearms- and drug-related charges.
A second person was also taken into custody at the home.
Detectives from the general investigations section are still investigating.
