It’s been nearly three years since classic rock legends Heart went on hiatus. But now, they’re officially back and they’ve just revealed plans for an extensive North American tour this summer.

Sisters and longtime members of the band, Ann and Nancy Wilson, have put some family drama behind them in order to launch the “Love Alive” tour and bring Heart back to the music scene.

The 39-date trek begins on July 9 in St. Louis, Mo., and will conclude in Hollywood, Calif., on Sept. 9.

Along the way, the six-piece has two scheduled stops in Canada: Toronto and Montreal. The best part? Sheryl Crow and Elle King are opening.

The Barracuda rockers have invited a variety of special guests as support acts for the long-awaited tour, including: Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Brandie Carlile and Lucie Silvas.

The tour was revealed over Twitter on Monday morning. Beforehand, the leading lady, Ann Wilson, 68, teased the sisters’ comeback in a series of tweets.

She was seen practicing the flute next to a Heart poster over the weekend, which led many to believe that their comeback was imminent.

Lead guitarist Nancy Wilson, also appeared to be more active on social media; retweeting posts made by Heart and even live-tweeting the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.

The tour announcement revealed that the Wilsons’ recent family troubles were finally solved.

Back in August 2016, the singer’s longtime husband, Dean Wetter, pleaded guilty and was arrested for assaulting Nancy’s twin sons (his nephews).

The boys asked to see their aunt’s new tour bus while backstage during one of Heart’s performances in Washington. Wetter agreed as long as the boys agreed not to leave the bus’ door open — as their dogs could escape.

According to Rolling Stone, the boys forgot and the dogs let loose. Wetter was furious and verbally abused them before reportedly slapping one boy on the back of the head before choking the other.

Heart agreed to finish the tour, but tensions were high as the sisters refused to communicate with one another.

In early 2017, it was revealed that Heart went on a hiatus, though this statement was later clarified to say it was not the end of their careers.

Both sisters moved on to start new musical projects, before the unexpectedly quick comeback this week.
