A body has been discovered in a Richmond home Wednesday after a man was reported missing in Vancouver on Feb. 3.
Richmond RCMP say early Wednesday, they sought the assistance of the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) in finding a missing person by checking an apartment near Boundary Road and Kingsway.
The apartment was empty but police say it showed signs of possible drug production.
Shortly after 3 a.m. Richmond Mounties found what is believed to be a clandestine drug lab at a home in the 4600-block of Princeton Avenue.
A deceased man was found inside.

Police say this man is believed to match the description of the person reported missing to Richmond RCMP on Feb. 3.
They say there is no immediate threat to public safety and no foul play is suspected.

RCMP are on the scene at the home in order to execute a search warrant.
The RCMP Federal Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement and Response Team (CLEAR) and the BC Coroner’s Service are assisting officers from the Richmond RCMP Organized Crime Unit.
