Three people were taken to hospital following a head-on collision in Selwyn Township just north of Peterborough on Wednesday evening.
The collision between a SUV and a pickup truck occurred just before 6 p.m. on Lakefield Road between the 5th and 6th lines of Smith.
The truck ended up in a ditch. The woman driving the pickup and a woman and her daughter in the SUV were all taken to hospital in Peterborough with non-life-threatening injuries.

Peterborough County OPP said the crash was weather-related due to an icy stretch of road.

A section of roadway was closed to allow Selwyn Township firefighters to clean up the scene and the OPP to investigate.
