Hamilton police say a traffic stop in the city has resulted in the arrest of a suspected drug dealer.
A suspicious vehicle was stopped by police around 10 p.m. Monday on Victoria Avenue North, south of Burlington Street East.
While conversing with the driver, police say they found evidence of crystal meth in the immediate area of the front passenger, who was taken into custody.

Police say the 30-year-old Stoney Creek man was also in possession of MDMA and evidence of drug trafficking. The man was charged with trafficking-related offences.
The investigation into the driver, a 29-year-old Stoney Creek man, resulted in his arrest for driving while under suspension.
