Police seek suspect in shooting outside bar on New Brunswick First Nation

Police in New Brunswick are searching for a man they say fired shots outside a bar as an employee was leaving the building.

The RCMP say they were called to the bar on Main Street on the Tobique First Nation at about 2 a.m. Monday.

They say an employee was confronted while exiting the bar by a man wearing a mask and brandishing a gun.

Police say the two got into an altercation and shots were fired, but that the employee got back inside without being injured.

They describe the suspect as being about 5’10” tall, thin and dressed all in black with a black mask, gloves and work boots.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
