Waterloo school buses cancelled, schools remain open

All school buses in Waterloo region have been cancelled however all schools in the area will remain open, according to Student Transportation Services.

Those who use extended daycare can breathe a sigh of relief as that will also remain open.

Both school boards are in the midst of exams. The bus cancellations will cause testing to be pushed back by one day so if a student needed to take a test on Tuesday it would be on Wednesday and so on. Exams will  now come to an end on Feb. 5.

Friday’s PD Day for the Waterloo Region District School Board remains unchanged.

Classes will remain unchanged at Wilfrid Laurier University, the University of Waterloo and Conestoga College.
