Environment Canada updated its special weather statement Tuesday afternoon with further information about an incoming storm system.
The Waterloo region and the Guelph area should start to see inclement weather Tuesday evening with of snow in the forecast.

The agency is warning that freezing rain could be in the forecast for both the Waterloo region and the Guelph area late Wednesday morning.
Warm temperatures will see the freezing rain become rain although there will also be accompanying winds gusting to 70 or 80 km/h.

Waterloo region and the Guelph area are expected to see anywhere from two to five cm of snow but northern Wellington County near Lake Huron could see anywhere from five to 10 cm.
