UPDATE: RCMP say a man in his 20’s died at the scene of a truck crash in Penticton Monday.
Police said they are still investigating but believe the crash happened sometime overnight.
The man was the lone occupant of the vehicle, according to Cst. James Grandy.

Emergency crews were called to 1700 Carmi Avenue near Superior Peat in Penticton just before 8 a.m. on Monday.

A truck was found on its roof after leaving the roadway and hitting a shipping container, witness Skylar Noe-Vak said.

Around 9:15 a.m. the coroner arrived on scene.
Carmi Avenue is open to single lane alternating traffic through the area as police investigate.
