Thompson RCMP make large seizure of cocaine, guns, cash

RCMP in Thompson made a large seizure of contraband on Monday. RCMP

Thompson RCMP are continuing to investigate after search warrants at two homes turned up a large quantity of cocaine, cash and weapons Monday night.

RCMP say a total of  six people have been arrested and face multiple drug and weapons charges.

At the first home, on Caribou Road, police seized 947 grams of cocaine, an SKS high-powered rifle, ammunition, a cross bow and arrows, and other drug paraphernalia.

Anthony Clements, 38, faces charges of careless use of a firearm, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

Delmar Hill, 34, is charged with careless use of a firearm, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possessing property obtained by crime, and three counts of weapons possession contrary to an order.

Kendall Clemons, 24, faces charges of careless use of a firearm, possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Kathleen Spence-Sinclair, 30, is charged with careless use of a firearm, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possessing property obtained by crime, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

All four are in custody.

The second residence, on Pipe Road in Thompson, resulted in a seizure of 478 grams of cocaine, a large sum of Canadian currency, and other drug paraphernalia.

Shawn Knowles, 25, and Kevin Wilson, 42, face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
