A look at British Columbia's monthly unemployment rate since Clark delivered her jobs plan in Sept. 2011. The Canadian Press

Six months ago, British Columbia Premier Christy Clark was touting her province as Canada’s job-creation engine, cranking out 57,000 new jobs and outpacing even Alberta without selling a drop of oil. But it appears the engine has stalled and with a provincial election campaign 10 days away, the Liberals are blaming national and international economic trends for their, at best, fourth-place position among the provinces. In the graphic above, prepared by The Canadian Press, it takes a look at British Columbia’s monthly unemployment rate since Clark delivered her jobs plan in Sept. 2011.
