KELOWNA — A Kelowna realtor is suing the Big White ski resort for an allegedly dangerous piece of real estate.
In a March 11 incident that Bo Skapski claims that, by no fault of his own, he fell into “half-pipe” feature on the Hummingbird run.
It’s a green circle or beginners rated run.
Skapski shattered the tibia bone in his left leg. He’s suing the ski resort for pain and suffering and loss of enjoyment of life.
Skapski’s writ alleges the half-pipe is “a dangerous and high risk of injury feature” that lacked warning signs.
He claims it wasn’t visible because of its placement position on the run.
Big White has yet to file a statement of defence.
