Provincial government helping Sask. families save for post-secondary education

SASKATOON – The Saskatchewan government is keeping its election promise on education funds.

The province has proclaimed what it’s calling the Saskatchewan Advantage Grant for Education Savings (SAGES).

It provides a grant to an RESP at a rate of up to 10 per cent to a maximum of $250.

The government believes the fund will benefit about 83 thousand children.
